The Planum Clay Interlocking Roof Tile Vent is specifically designed for use with Planum clay interlocking roof tiles, providing effective and discreet roof space ventilation while maintaining the sleek, modern appearance of the roofline. Manufactured to integrate seamlessly with the Planum tile profile, this ventilation tile offers both performance and visual consistency across the roof covering. Designed for roof space ventilation only, the Planum Clay Tile Vent helps to reduce the risk of condensation build-up within the roof structure by promoting a balanced airflow beneath the tiles. Proper ventilation helps prevent excessive temperature differences between the underside of the roof tiles and the roof support structure, reducing the likelihood of moisture problems, damp conditions, and frost-related cracking over time. For correct installation, the ventilation tile should always be staggered in relation to the entry tiles and must never be installed in the row directly adjacent to the ridge. It is recommended that a minimum of two ventilation tiles are installed per roof field, with one vent tile fitted for every 7m² of roof area.
