Its refinement lies in its details. A Liberty-style floral print Peter Pan collar with tiny blooms on white, like a wild summer field in bloom frames the neckline. This same flower pattern appears on the side belts and as piping above and below the smocked waistband. The smocked waistband itself is worked by hand: a garland of pink and purple daisy blooms embroidered with great care along delicate connecting stems. At the back, self-covered buttons complete the design.
