This product requires cold water between 16–18°C with a pH of 6.5–7.5. It needs a minimum 75L tank with hiding spots and no gravel. Feed with worms and pellets every other day. Maintain by changing 20–30% of the water weekly, using a gentle filter, and adding conditioner. Avoid strong light, keep alone or with similar-sized axolotls, and monitor for illness.
