Domaine Etienne Delarche Pernand-Vergelesses Les Combottes

Domaine Etienne Delarche is a small family winery found in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses. Over the course of three generations the Delarches have mastered this little corner of the Côte de Beaune, crafting pure and precise wines with stunning depth of flavour. Les Combottes is a creamy, concentrated Chardonnay from the eponymous lieu‑dit of thirty‑year‑old vines, planted between 230 and 280 m on clay and limestone marl. Aged for just one year in neutral Burgundy barrels, it’s a lively, refreshing White Burgundy, brimming with alluring orchard fruit and lemon zest. On the palate, subtle creaminess is nicely balanced by refreshing acidity and a fine mineral spine.
