ICONIC Dolce Gabbana S/S 1995 Runway Rhinestone Dress (XS)
DETAILS: Absolutely gorgeous Dolce Gabbana dress from the iconic Spring / Summer 1995 runway show. Delicate, feminine piece adorned with two rows of rhinestones along the décolletage and under the bust, and a flowy, pleated bottom. Triangle cups, bow-tied straps (can be regulated), and an A-shaped silhouette gives ballerina-like lightness to the whole look, making it extremely feminine. A true vintage gem - meant to be treasured forever. WHY THE ICON? Almost exactly the same silhouette was shown during the 1995 Spring / Summer Dolce Gabbana runway on top model Yasmeen Ghauri (in beige) and on Carla Bruni. To this day, it is one of the most famous Dolce Gabbana shows with the most iconic pieces reaching astronomical prices on auctions. It was also the era of DG's biggest notoriety (the 90s) and one of a few shows with Monica Bellucci. SIZING: Best fits international XS. True to the size. Photographed on mannequin size S-XS (the top of the mannequin is size S, that's why the zipper is not fully closed on the photo). No stretch. Back zipper with hook-and-eye closure. Fully lined. Composition: Rayon and Viscose. Made in Italy. Flat lay measurements: Chest: approx. 35 cm Waist: approx. 33 cm Hips: approx. 43 cm. Total length: approx. 78 cm (can be slightly regulated with straps). CONDITION: Very good vintage condition (excellent for the piece from the 90s!). There are two pulled thread (both not visible while wearing because of the pleated bottom and the lining - please see the two last photo below). The zipper is working perfectly, however, it's not fully closed on the back photos, because the top of the mannequin is size S, not XS. *Please note that natural signs of wear are normal for vintage or pre-loved clothing. All items are hand-picked by our team, professionally cleaned when needed, and carefully inspected. We offer only high-quality pieces.
