Jaime Aldaz Tonchi IV

Guadalajara, 2024 Jaime Andrés Aldaz Ceramist. He was born in Quito, in the Ecuadorian Andes mountain range. In her practice she explores the intersections between ceramics, spirituality and poetry. His work embodies a continuous search for understanding our existence in relation to other beings and the ways in which we inhabit the world. To honor our geographies and landscapes, each piece is handcrafted over time, using native clays, volcanic sands and ashes.
