House Against Hate (HAH)
House Against Hate (HAH) was born from Brussel’s underground party culture. Part photographic story, part philosophy, and part poetic reflection, the book explores rave culture beyond nightlife: as community, resistance, care, radical inclusivity, and shared creation. Emerging from the forests around Belgium, HAH grew from a small gathering of friends into an evolving collective built on freedom, trust, and mutual responsibility. Through images and reflections from its earliest gatherings, the book traces the philosophy behind the movement: non-hierarchical organization, temporary autonomous spaces in nature, freedom of expression, mutual care, and the ongoing challenge of building truly inclusive communities today. More than a free party, HAH is a temporary home built together. A response to consumer culture and social fragmentation, and a search for deeper human connection through music, nature, and collective experience.
