March 2027 Park Rapids Driver's Ed (IN PERSON) Classes will be held at Calvary Church, 112 Park Ave, Park Rapids, MN. Class communication will occur via the remind app. I will text everyone the link to join 2 weeks prior to class starting. If you do not have this app please download it when you register. Students should bring a notebook, pen and highlighter to class. If you are 14 years old or older, you may sign up for a driver's education class. Students who are 14 years old must wait until they are 15 years old to take the knowledge test. Classroom instruction will be given on the following dates: Classroom instruction will be given on the following dates: Session 1: Mon March 15th 5:30-8:30pm Session 2: Tue March 16th 5:30-8:30pm Session 3: Thu March 18th 5:30-8:30pm Session 4: Sat March 20th 9am-12pm *** Parent Meeting 12-1:30pm Session 5: Mon March 22nd 5:30-8:30pm Session 6: Tue March 23rd 5:30-8:30pm Session 7: Thur March 25th 5:30-8:30pm Session 8: Sat March 27th 9-12pm Session 9: Tues March 30th 5:30-8:30pm Session 10: Thur April 1st 5:30-8:30pm ***Parent Meeting: Saturday March 20th 12pm-1:30pm. Parents and students should both attend, but the parent meeting is optional. Attendance is very important. State law requires students have 30 hours of classroom instruction before a Blue Card can be issued. If a student misses a class, make-up classes must be attended in the next available class. I strongly suggest perfect attendance. If you have a scheduling conflict due to extracurricular activities, call me and we will find a solution. Students should bring a notebook, pen and highlighter to class. Driver instruction fees are as follows: Classroom: $150 Behind the Wheel: $350 Classroom / Behind the Wheel Package: $450 You may pay for these classes separately and still receive the $50 discount.
