Nizam ul Mulk II
Nizam ul-Mulk II rises, carrying the authority of its lineage. Yes, you heard it right. We are finally here with one of the most eagerly awaited releases of this year, an oil co-distilled from the renowned Meghalaya and Assam regions. The concept behind co-distillation is to showcase the diverse aspects of the infamous Hindi region. It took months to collect the wood, followed by nearly three weeks of distillation in a stainless steel pot and glass condenser/receiver, without any fermentation process. We made no compromises in the quality of the material, as only pure incense chips are used. This guarantees the authentic aroma imparted in the oil, ensuring its longevity and projection simultaneously. With a single sniff, you’ll be transported to the ‘Darbar’ (Royal Court) of the Nizams, whose space used to linger with the smell of authentic Hindi wood aroma that used to have a lasting effect on the mood of the attendees. You’ll have the same exact feeling with this oil. The oil continues to progress rather than fading over time, and with each sniff, it unveils new olfactory dimensions. Even after wearing it for four hours now while typing, my wrist is glued to my nose. The scent is reminiscent of warm spices, tea, a hint of leather, hay, floral notes, old books, and the typical incensy aroma of agarwood. You’ll also experience subtle sweetness that permeates the air when burning a Hindi chip on a subitism burner. There are so many notes to explore, and I’ll leave it to you to decide which ones to delve into.
