Fused Glass Reactive Glass Plate

This plate is made with vanilla glass, with different colors of stringers used for the design. The lines between the colors are the result of chemical reactions. The plate measures 8 x 8 x .5. The glass is hand cut fused, then slumped into a mold. All my creations are fired at temperatures up to about 1500 degrees and then annealed (slowly cooled) for strength and durability.
