The British Commonwealth Goes to War - Poster

The British Empire and Commonwealth, represented as six noble armoured knights, charge into the fires of the First World War beneath their watchwords of Honour, Glory, and Freedom. To the sides are described the extraordinary efforts of each party in contributing to the greater Imperial war effort, based on period sources. This dramatically heroic piece is based on the original wartime artwork of Louis Raemaekers, being reimagined by Marina McKinley.
