COMPATIBILITY Applications are available for the following fuel cells. 20-0611 RA Series 10.5 Gallon Fuel Cell OVERVIEW These optional carbon fiber lids are 68% lighter than the powder-coated aluminum lid that comes standard with all Radium Engineering RA-Series fuel cells. When purchasing with a fuel cell, this product will come in a separate box and will need to be installed by the end user. The standard Radium Engineering aluminum lid cannot be exchanged. Check with your racing organization to make sure carbon fiber is an acceptable material for the fuel cell enclosure. SPECS & FEATURES Construction: dry carbon Fabric: Pre-impregnated Tow: 3K filaments per fiber Weave: 2x2 Twill INSTALLATION NOTES If a drop-in fuel pump assembly, such as an FCST-X, is already installed in the fuel cell, reference the instructions for that drop-in assembly for notes on how to remove and reinstall it. A new gasket may be needed, P/N: 18-0015. Use a 5/32" (or 4mm) Allen wrench for the stainless steel button head bolts Use a 7/16" wrench for the flange head nuts underneath the perimeter bolts When reinstalling, torque the perimeter bolts to 6.8-Nm (60in-lbs) For the Phillips head screws that secure the inspection plate, use a micro screwdriver Be careful not to overtighten any bolts that could crack the carbon fiber resin INCLUDED Each kit includes one carbon fiber lid.
