Blank wood slice magnets for classroom craft activities, ready for students to paint, draw and decorate. Each Classroom Pack contains 30 natural pine wood slices with flexible magnets already attached. It provides a ready-to-use activity for up to 30 children, with each student able to create their own personalised fridge magnet. The generous 6–8 cm surface gives children plenty of room to create a design while still being comfortable for smaller hands to decorate. The finished magnets make thoughtful handmade gifts for Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, birthdays and other special occasions. They’re also suitable for classroom keepsakes, student gifts, school market stalls, craft groups and seasonal activities. The slices can be painted, drawn on using permanent markers or ballpoint pens, or decorated with photographs, glued shapes and other embellishments. They arrive sanded smooth and ready to decorate straight out of the pack. Sizes Each slice measures approximately 6–8 cm in diameter, measured from bark edge to bark edge. Magnet information These decorative magnets are designed to hold the finished wood slice securely to a suitable magnetic surface. Magnet safety These wood slices use large, low-powered flexible patch magnets rather than small, high-powered magnets. Adult supervision is recommended during children’s craft activities. Do not allow children to remove or play with the magnets, and discontinue use if a magnet becomes detached or damaged. Wood type and sourcing Our wood slices are made from radiata pine harvested by Stringybark Supplies in Victoria. Radiata pine is not native to Australia; by harvesting it, we help create space for native species to regenerate. Every slice is cut, dried, sanded and prepared at our workshop in Wesburn. As this is a natural timber product, variations in grain, colour, shape and bark are to be expected and are part of the character of the wood.
