Thick ridges of yellow and orange paint dominate the upper half, laid on with a palette knife in overlapping vertical passes. Large irregular patches of white and silver-gray break through the color like torn paper, exposing streaks of deep maroon and near-black beneath. On the right edge, dark red and olive-green pigment clusters together in denser knots, while small flecks of magenta and pink surface on the left.
