Hat Knitting Class
A knitted hat can be a great second knitting project - especially if you have some guidance along the way. If you have taken our Knitter's Crash Course this could be a great next step on your knitting adventure. In this class students will be introduced to the purl stitch and learn how to combine it with the knit stitch for a foundational knitting texture called "ribbing". In addition, students will learn how to knit in rounds on circular knitting needles and read a simple knitting pattern. 1 session, materials not included Materials: 140m Bulky yarn such as Drops Andes, or Snow or Wool and the Gang Alpachino Merino and 6mm 40cm/16" circular needles. Come a little early and get advice about supplies available at the Knit Cafe! Level: Beginner. Students should be comfortable with casting on, and the knit stitch. If you do not have these skills yet - check out our Knitter's Crash Course Before Class: You will not receive a reminder email before your class so make sure to add it to your calendar. Get in touch with any questions. We can't wait to see you! Cancelation Policy: No refunds are provided for students who cancel their class registrations. A store credit or exchange of the date of the class can be given if you provide 3 days notice prior to the first session of your class. Notifications made within 3 days of the start date are not eligible for a store credit or exchange. Exceptions may be made for students who miss classes due to COVID-symptoms - please get in touch.
