When preparing tea or coffee, dispense and discard approximately 50 mL before filling the cup with hot water. Setup, Care & Filter Replacement 06 01 Place on a Stable Countertop Position the C01 on a flat, clean, dry, and heat-resistant indoor surface near a properly grounded electrical outlet. 02 Install the Drip Tray and Pitcher Attach the magnetic drip tray and securely position the matching purified-water pitcher against the system. 03 Install Both Filter Cartridges Install and lock the main RO composite filter, then firmly insert the second activated-carbon post-filter. 04 Fill the Feed-Water Tank Remove the rear tank, fill it with municipal tap water, and return it securely to its original position. 05 Flush Before Drinking During first use, fill and process approximately five full feed-water tanks and discard the produced water. 06 Calibrate the Boiling Point Complete the boiling-point adjustment during initial setup to match the system to local altitude and conditions. 07 Do Not Top Off the Tank When the change-water indicator flashes, discard the remaining concentrated water before adding fresh tap water. 08 Clean Tanks as Needed Rinse the feed-water tank and pitcher whenever visible sediment or residue appears on the bottom or interior surfaces. 09 Descale Every 3 Months Use approximately 30 grams of citric acid and follow the soaking and rinsing procedure described in the manual. 10 Replace Filters on Time Replace the RO composite filter approximately every 12 months and the post-filter approximately every 6 months. 11 Reset and Flush New Filters Reset the corresponding PR or C filter indicator after replacement, then repeat the required flushing process. 12 Prepare for Extended Non-Use Empty both tanks, unplug the system, remove and refrigerate the sealed filters at 2–5°C, and keep the appliance in a cool, dry, and dark location. Performance reminder: Water-production speed can vary with feed-water temperature, source-water quality, TDS level, filter condition, and ambient temperature. Production may take longer in colder conditions.
