Hearthstone Stoves Bari Plus Freestanding Wood Stove
German-Engineered Rotating Wood Stove with TruHybrid™ Combustion and Included Heat-Retaining Thermal Brick The Bari Plus pairs HASE's rotating curved-glass design with TruHybrid™ catalytic combustion and included heat-retaining thermal bricks, extending gentle warmth well after the active fire declines. Key Features TruHybrid™ combustion — primary and secondary combustion plus a tertiary catalytic stage, rated at 76% HHV efficiency and EPA certified at 0.94 g/hr. Included heat-retaining thermal bricks line the firebox and fill the taller body, storing heat and releasing it gradually as the fire declines. Up to 16 hours of HeatLife™ from a single load of wood, depending on installation and operating conditions. 180° mechanical rotation — up to 90° to either side — with curved glass providing a fire view spanning up to approximately 225°. Heats up to 1,400 sq. ft., depending on home layout, climate, and installation. Built-in ash pan behind the control door for convenient ash removal. Designed and manufactured in Germany by Hase Kaminofenbau GmbH. Product Features German HASE Design The Bari Plus is designed and manufactured exclusively in Germany by Hase Kaminofenbau GmbH of Trier. Its slim cylindrical steel body, tall curved glass, and Charcoal Black Steel finish suit contemporary living spaces while keeping a compact 18.5" footprint. TruHybrid™ Combustion HearthStone's TruHybrid™ system combines primary and secondary combustion with a tertiary combustion stage in a catalyst, burning remaining gases and particulates before they reach the chimney. The Bari Plus is rated at 76% HHV efficiency and is EPA certified at 0.94 g/hr. A bypass is opened for startup and reloading, and a catalyst thermometer helps you monitor catalyst operation. Heat-Retaining Thermal Brick The Bari Plus stands taller than the standard Bari, and that added height creates room for its included heat-retaining thermal brick system. Heat-storage bricks line the firebox and upper body, absorbing heat while the fire burns and releasing it gently as the fire declines — the manufacturer positions this stored-heat mass as the key to the Bari Plus's extended HeatLife™ of up to 16 hours. 180° Rotating Fire View The Bari Plus mechanically rotates through 180° — up to 90° to either side — so the fire can face different parts of the room, while its curved glass provides a fire view spanning up to approximately 225°. The rotation can also be locked, which reduces the required clearances and hearth size shown below. Natural Convective Heat The Bari Plus heats through a combination of radiant heat from the glass and steel body and natural convective airflow around the cylinder. No blower is used or offered for this model, so it operates silently and without electricity. Available Finish and Configuration The Bari Plus is currently offered in one configuration: Finish Part ID MSRP Notes Charcoal Black Steel 8172-0115 $7,599 Wood-burning TruHybrid™ configuration; includes the heat-retaining thermal brick system and built-in ash pan.
