Anglerfish Vase

This POT of the Week is not for the faint of heart. The Anglerfish Vase brings one of the deep sea’s most delightfully ugly hunters to the surface, its low-relief face — lure, teeth, and all — emerging right out of the clay. The loose, wabi-sabi form ripples and wanders with a mind of its own, while the glaze drifts through blues, lavenders, and manganese violet into cool white, like something glimpsed by flashlight a thousand feet down. Equal parts spooky and charming, it’s a shoo-in for anyone whose collection has room for one more quirky Ephraim pot. The Anglerfish Vase is available to order until 8am CST on Tuesday, August 18th.
