Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - Yas Island

A circuit built around a marina, on an island, in a city that decided it wanted one. Yas Marina is the most deliberate shape in this collection, and the only one where the water is part of the design rather than something the track runs past.It is also our home race, more or less. Siluet is made in Dubai, an hour and a half up the road, and this is the circuit our own team has actually stood at. The race begins in daylight and ends under floodlights, and the hour in between is why people book the flights.Two editions. Classic puts a black track on matte white. Midnight puts a red one on matte black. Three frames, black, white and oak effect. The acrylic is recycled, cut at 6 mm and hand-fixed so the track stands off the page rather than sitting on it. Signed on the back by whoever made yours, and boxed ready to give.
