Wednesday 7 October, 6pm to 8pm | The Wine Room by David Nash | $85pp | Limited to 75 guests Think of it as a mini wine festival, all under one roof. For one evening, four of the South Island's most exciting producers land at The Wine Room, pouring their wines in person across a relaxed, self-guided tasting focused on Central Otago and the Waitaki Valley. No seats, no schedule. Just roam, taste, and talk to the people who actually made the wine. Pouring on the night: Wild Irishman, Central Otago. Made by the legendary Alan Brady, the Central Otago pioneer featured in David Nash's film A Seat at the Table Clos Ostler, North Otago. Home of Caroline's Pinot Noir, crowned Best Red Wine in New Zealand at the International Wine Challenge 2025 Coal Pit, Gibbston, Central Otago. Grapes grown, handpicked and made into wine on a single, fully certified organic vineyard. Mt Difficulty, Bannockburn, Central Otago. One of the region's founding names, known for bold, structured Pinot Noir from the rugged terraces above the Cromwell Basin. Free-flowing canapés keep you company from 6pm to 8pm, and your host for the evening is David Nash. Make a night of it: join us for dinner and snacks before or after the experience. We'd love to have you at the table on either side of the pours. A wonderful excuse to talk wine on a Wednesday.
