Kenya Kiambu Gititu
The farmers around Gititu Factory run small plots — one or two hectares each, in Kiambu County, 47 kilometers from Nairobi. They've been delivering cherries here for years. This is what that consistency produces. Coffee is how this community funds everything — schools, roads, water, electricity. The farming families here know what a bad crop costs. That knowledge shows up in the cup. Kenya coffee can go wrong fast. Vegetal, tomato, underripe. When the processing is right — and at Gititu it is — none of that. Just the coffee. Warm and stone fruit. Dried apricot, black tea, turbinado sugar. Best as filter. TASTING NOTES: Dried apricot, black tea, turbinado sugar.
