The dark beads have an iridescent finish with subtle tones of blue, teal, green, purple, bronze and hints of gold depending on the light. The colors remind me of Raku pottery, with that same dark, earthy base and flashes of rich metallic rainbow color. The semi-glazed finish gives the beads a softer, more organic appearance rather than a highly polished shine. This is a single strand necklace made with small 11/0 glass seed beads measuring approximately 1.5mm long by 2.2mm wide. The subtle variations in the beads give the finished necklace a beautiful artisan look. Each necklace is made to order in the length you select.
