Leica APO-Macro-Elmarit-SL 100mm f/2.8 Lens

The Leica APO-Macro-Elmarit-SL 100mm f/2.8 is an L-Mount macro and portrait lens built for close detail and longer-working-distance portraiture. Its 100mm focal length, f/2.8 aperture, and 1:0.997 maximum reproduction ratio support near-life-size subjects while retaining the reach to frame portraits from farther away. Close-focus control The lens focuses from 0.29m to infinity. A selectable focus limiter narrows autofocus to 1ft–1.6ft or 1.6ft–infinity, while the camera can select autofocus or manual focus operation. Optics and construction Its optical design uses 17 elements in 12 groups with apochromatic correction. The aluminum full-metal housing is dust- and splash-water protected, and the external elements use Leica Aqua-Dura coating. An E67 filter thread and included lens hood support the lens in use.
