An Integrated Understanding of Dreams

Thursday, July 23, 7 – 8:30 PM Leader: Jodi Kosofsky, MA, LP, NJPsyA, NCPsyA Level: Introductory to Intermediate Fee: $50 Virtual via ZOOM Continuing Education: 1.5 CE credits for NJ social workers and NBCC clock hours for licensed professional counselor In this workshop participants will learn how to interpret dreams and to distinguish the manifest dream from the latent content which can be used to assess clinical change during therapeutic treatment. Learning Objectives: To understand how dreams are often attempts to solve conflicts and manage difficulties in waking life. To understand what screen memories are and how they can trace conflicts in different developmental stages as well as how they represent attempts to solve these conflicts. To learn what recurring dreams and dream symbols represent. Workshop leader: Jodi Kosofsky is a New York licensed psychoanalyst and a New Jersey certified psychoanalyst and a member of the Training Board and faculty at NJI.
