Log Cabin Barnraising Doll Quilt

This is a wonderfully small scale Barnraising Log Cabin doll quilt. In spite of not having a border, one can be assured of the authenticity of this piece both because of the scale and the back. The back is shown in the last thumbnail photo. While not finely done, this piece has more quilting than one usually sees in a Log Cabin. There is slight smudging to some of the light fabrics. The fabrics are strong and would hold up to a wash but it is not necessarily called for as the soiling is not very evident. Measurements are 13 " x 14". Made late 1880's; Pennsylvania origin.
