94 - James Suckling Named after the turrets that surmount the Chateau of Pichon Longueville, this wine has its own dedicated portion of the vineyard, drawn mainly from the Merlot-planted Sainte Anne plot. The second wine of Chateau Pichon Baron, it is open, generous and full bodied. Tasting Notes: Ripe and expressive with blackberry, plum and red-cherry fruit, framed by cedar and spice from 18 months in barriques. Polished tannins and a fresh, persistent finish mark this excellent Pauillac vintage.
