Remember the ART/EROTIC/DEATH tanks? Well this is the same one with new words. Choose your favorite, or get all three. Non-Toxic Masculinity is a 3 part release, all containing words from men who said the damn thing we needed to hear. Its tongue in cheek, sassy, and also dead serious. This release is meant to bridge culture by giving credibility to the male artists that told us like it is, rather than remain divisive, stagnant, and making blanket statements like “men are shit”. Together, their words offer the nuance this world really needs. "Embrace This Moment" is from Tool, Parabola (2001), about the miracle of human existence and sacredness of body. "T Minus Whenever It Feels Right" is from Clutch, Spacegrass (1995), about intuition without a rigid political or deep emotional message. "Soft Spoken Changes Nothing" is from Warlock, Skinny Puppy (1989), truly one of the most relevant songs today about awareness of self inside social decay, which came out nearly 40 years ago, Nivek Ogre, was way ahead of his time with this one. These three come together to deliver a complex message of sacredness, chillin', and awareness. Nothing here is under 25 years old. These had to stand the test of time.
