Valerie

Valerie centres on an Asscher-cut diamond, its concentric step cuts drawing you down into the stone like a hall of mirrors. The gallery beneath is left open and shaped into a sculptural V, visible from the side and worth a look in its own right. Pavé runs along each shoulder, adding light up to the centre without crowding it, while a rounded band softens all the right angles. It nods to Art Deco without dressing up as a period piece.
