Designation Tejo DOC Viticulture The grapes come from vineyards planted on clay-limestone soils, providing structure, balance and excellent aromatic expression. Harvest Hand-harvested. Winemaking The grapes were fully destemmed and gently crushed, followed by an extended five-day maceration with fermentation at a controlled temperature of around 26°C. The wine was aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, followed by a minimum of 9 months of bottle ageing before release. Winemaker Pedro Gil.
