This is single release that paved the way for "Hingus" having been issued the year prior. It contains 3 tracks featuring members of Mess, the group Grünberg led, though the material had not been released previously. Side A features the ambient epic "Hingus" characterized by drone-like synth layers that evoke a meditative cosmic atmosphere. Side B includes cosmic ambient piece "Algus" with a sound reminiscent of Japanese aesthetics, and soft texture featuring vocals and harp "Nimetu". There is some light surface crackling but the record remains still enjoyable. ソ連産のアンビエント作品の代表格に挙げられる”Hingus”を生んだエストニア人シンセ奏者Sven Grünberg。本作はその”Hingus”の前年にリリースしていた布石となった7インチシングル。リリース歴はないものの彼が率いたグループMessの面々が参加した全3曲を収録。A面では瞑想宇宙を想起させるドローンライクなシンセのレイヤーを用いたアンビエント大曲”Hingus”、B面には和的にも聞こえてくるコズミック・アンビエント”Algus”と声とハープをフィーチャーした柔らかなテクスチャー”Nimetu”。盤の性質上少しチリパチします。 A - Hingus B1 - Algus B2 - Nimetu
