Grape: 100% Merwah Farming: Organic, dry farmed Region: Wadi Qannoubine, Lebanon, 1400m Soil: Limestone ABV: 12.5% Winemaking: De-stemmed Merwah macerated for 3 weeks. No added SO2, fining, or filtration. About the Winemaker Laila is producer making wine in the Wadi Qannoubine region of Lebanon. Originally from the US, with Palestine heritage, is currently spending time between Lebanon and Australia. She has been producing wine in Lebanon since 2021 called ‘Love Letter’. Laila strongly believes in natural wine and making wine without any additives and strives to work with indigenous grape varieties when possible, showcasing the unique terroir of the region. All the wines produced are from organic grapes, fermented naturally, have zero sulphur added and are meant to be expressive and alive. Love Letter is an ode to her levantine roots. Tech Sheet
