Dark with ruby and cranberry highlights, it's plump and heady with blackberries, cassis and tangy raspberry, undercut by mint, pepper and Mataro's signature scorched-earth character, finishing with plum conserve, mocha and eucalyptus. Giant Steps Single Vineyard Applejack Vineyard Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2023 From a single, sustainably farmed vineyard in the cool upper reaches of the Yarra Valley, this is silky, site-driven Pinot Noir at its most precise. Bright red cherry and wild strawberry lead, layered with rose petal, spice and forest floor, with fine tannins and fresh acidity carrying through to a long, poised finish. Fritzsche Cabernet Sauvignon Family Reunion 2022 Blending fruit from the Matthiasson-farmed Bengier Vineyard in Oak Knoll with Rutherford's York Vineyard, winemaker Vincent Fritzsche crafts an elegant, early-drinking style of Napa Cabernet.
