Louis Vuitton Diamond Blossom Sun Ear Stud 18K White Gold Earrings

A pair of Diamond Blossom Sun studs in 18K white gold. Each one is a domed polished disc with the four-petal Monogram flower recessed into the face, every petal filled with round brilliant pavé and a small polished gold bead at the center. Roughly 64 diamonds across the pair, around 0.58ct total. The setting is what separates these from every other flower stud. The flower sits inside the disc rather than on top of it, framed by a fine raised outline, so the pavé reads as inlaid rather than applied. Bright white metal against bright white stones — the contrast comes from surface, not color. Louis Vuitton built the Blossom collections off the Monogram flowers drawn in 1896. The Sun motif is the rounded four-petal one, the softest of the set, and pavé suits it better than the pointed Star version. The earrings measure .59" in diameter.
