Digitrax UT6 LocoNet Utility Throttle is a compact handheld throttle designed for use with compatible LocoNet systems. Built for convenient one-handed operation, it provides model railroad operators with straightforward access to locomotive control, functions, turnouts, and other useful DCC features in a compact design. The Digitrax UT6 LocoNet Utility Throttle features a color 1.5-inch LCD display screen and full numeric keys for easy locomotive selection. Operators can access 2- or 4-digit locomotive decoder addresses, providing access to more than 9,000 locomotive addresses. A fine speed-control encoder knob allows precise speed adjustments, while the forward/reverse toggle switch provides directional control with braking. The UT6 also provides access to 29 functions, making it possible to control a wide range of locomotive features from the handheld throttle. Digitrax infrared operation is supported when used with compatible UR90, UR91, or UR92 receivers. The throttle also supports more than 2,000 turnout decoder addresses, providing convenient control of turnouts and other layout accessories. Additional features include a locomotive recall function and convenient throttle option setup. The detachable LocoNet cable makes connecting and disconnecting the throttle simple, while the included lanyard provides another convenient way to carry the controller during operating sessions. Power is provided by AA batteries or BP600MH batteries, giving operators flexible power options.
