Marimo Moss Ball

Introducing the Marimo Moss Ball! Despite their name, these funky little aquatic balls are a form of spherical algae. Fully aquatic and very easy to care for, the Marimo Moss Ball can be styled using almost any water-tight vessel you like - a simple glass, a round bowl, an aquarium, your favourite vase - the possibilities are endless! CARE: Being an aquatic alga, Marimo Moss Balls need to live fully submerged in water. We advise using dechlorinated water (either use a dechlorinate solution from your local pet or aquarium store, or simply leave a vessel of water out overnight to allow the chlorine to evaporate). Place your Marimo Moss Ball in bright, indirect light (ensure they do not receive direct sun) and rotate every 3-4 weeks to allow for sufficient light distribution and even growth over the whole sphere.
