Handcrafted by Japanese ceramic artist Hitoshi Morimoto, this versatile cup reflects the warmth and natural beauty of traditional Bizen ware. Inspired by the changing seasons and the quiet rhythms of daily life, Morimoto creates vessels that are meant to be lived with and enjoyed every day. Each piece is wood-fired for nearly a week in a traditional climbing kiln, where flame, ash, and heat interact directly with the clay. The resulting surface patterns, earthy tones, and subtle textures are created entirely by the firing process, making every cup unique. This vessel is intentionally versatile. Whether used for coffee, tea, water, beer, or sake, it adapts naturally to a variety of drinks and occasions. Its comfortable proportions and tactile surface invite daily use, while the distinctive character of Bizen ware brings a sense of craftsmanship and individuality to every moment.
