This expression brings together some of Pōkeno’s oldest whiskies, fully matured across six cask types: Pedro Ximénez sherry butts and hogsheads, lightly and medium toasted virgin American oak barrels, as well as ruby and tawny port barriques. The result is Pōkeno’s boldest and richest release to date, bursting with notes of ripe red fruits, dark chocolate, and Black Forest gâteau. Layers of rich honey, caramel, and vanilla beans follow, leading to a long, luxurious, and fruit-driven finish. Pōkeno Distillery is nestled in a warm, misty valley, protected by volcanic hills.
