Pair of Early 20th C Plateau Parfleche Bonnet Cases

These are a pair of Plateau parfleche bonnet cases collected in Eastern Washington by the late Steve Barrett. The design and coloring are classic Plateau and they have the long fringe along their length. They have not been formed into their cylinder shape and are missing the end caps. They were collected in that condition from their Plateau owners and probably lay one on top of the other for years as one is fairly bright and the other is more scuffed and faded. These would be a good addition to a collection of horse gear and Plateau parfleche. L. 24" First Half 20th Century #9025
