This new latex-based compound has a higher viscosity, making application smoother and more manageable while still delivering a strong, flexible finish. Why Choose This Thicker Latex? Higher Viscosity Thicker than our original liquid latex, allowing for better control and less runoff during application. Stronger, Flexible Finish Dries into a durable rubber backing that remains flexible without cracking. Low Odour Unlike traditional ammonia-heavy latex adhesives, this compound is almost odourless during use — ideal for enclosed workspaces. Edge-Friendly Dries slightly tacky initially (similar to our Liquid Latex), which helps when folding over edges (waterfall edge method). Because of this tack, less additional adhesive is required when securing edges or applying secondary backing.
