One Pleat Trousers - Navy Wool

The One Pleat Trousers are a handsome slim-straight dress pant with a single front pleat on each leg and a comfortably unexaggerated silhouette. They're a really classic dress trouser that can be styled casually thanks to the straight leg and easy drape, but also pair well with DBF's Double Breasted Jacket in the same fabric. They've got a medium-high rise and a relaxed top block, with a true waist and pretty natural straight legs that aren't too wide or too narrow. They're made from a lightweight super 130's wool fabric, woven in Italy using raw wool fibers from Australia. The sheep who grow the wool are raised WITHOUT Mulesing, an agricultural practice that involves removing a large chunk of wool-growing skin from the sheep's hindquarters to reduce risk of a pest infection called flystrike. The airy finished fabric is left unlined, allowing for a more relaxed and unstructured fit — it's a comfortably light and breathable material that can be worn regularly throughout the year, as high-quality wool is a performance textile in hot and cold temperatures. The waist and fly close up with real horn buttons and a zipper, and both legs feature a crease down the front and back for a more formal impression.
