Handmade ripple cup by Atelier Marée in speckled porcelain. Crafted in Aarhus, the cup carries a calm and organic expression inspired by the natural shapes and textures found along the coastline. The name “Ripple” refers to the wave-like patterns formed in the sand when the tide recedes and reveals the seabed beneath. This movement is translated into the surface of the cup, where the soft lines create a tactile and sculptural appearance. The speckled glaze adds a warm and natural character, with delicate sand-coloured speckles contrasting beautifully against the light porcelain surface. Slightly larger than the Tide Cup, it holds approximately 270 ml, making it ideal for both coffee and tea. Handmade in porcelain clay in Aarhus, where each cup is individually shaped and therefore features small variations in form, glaze and surface.
