2024 Fanny Sabre, Beaune Premier Cru Les Chouacheux

Burgundy, France | 100% Pinot Noir Beaune Les Chouacheux comes from one of the Côte d'Or's most intriguing climats; a walled vineyard set on the lower slopes of the Côte d'Or escarpment, just west-southwest of Beaune. Long appreciated by those in the know, Les Chouacheux remains something of a hidden gem, capable of producing wines of remarkable charm and character. So much so, wine critic William Kelly has begun cultivating vines here! Made from 100% Pinot Noir, this cuvée is beautifully fresh, finely textured and impressively complex. Aromas of ripe cherry, sweet spice and cinnamon rise from the glass, leading to a supple palate with lingering elegance and poise. It is a superb expression of Fanny Sabre’s craft!
