Mapei Quarzo Quartz Sand – 0.25 / 0.5 / 1.2 / 1.9 Mapei Quarzo is a selected quartz sand designed for professional use with epoxy and polyurethane resin systems. Made from highly pure, washed, kiln-dried quartz, it can be used to create resin mortars, self-levelling resin coatings, skimming mortars, and screeds, as well as for repair work on floors, joints, holes, patches, and coves. It can also be broadcast onto fresh resin surfaces to increase thickness, create a rough key for additional layers, or produce a durable non-slip finish where extra grip is needed. Available in four particle sizes – 0.25, 0.5, 1.2, and 1.9 – Quarzo can be selected to suit different coating, mortar, and flooring applications.
