The Uncharted Whisky Co. Golden Years Caol Ila 14 years old 2012 is an Islay single malt from the Caol Ila distillery bottled by the independent bottler Uncharted Whisky Co. This Caol Ila was distilled in 2012 and it matured in two first fill Tokaji casks. Those got bottled in March 2026 at 55% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited edition single cask release of 342 bottles. Official tasting notes: Tokaji, the King of Wines, meets Islay, the Queen of the Hebrides. Sweet, opulent Tokaji casks soften and enrich this powerful island malt, bringing notes of stone fruit, brioche, and oak to Caol Ila’s coastal core. A richly textured Scotch that wears its authority lightly.
