About the Brand Founders, Michael and Brittany "accidentally" started Bask in 2021. After losing a family member to skin cancer, they launched a non-profit called The Skin Protection Foundation (SPF) whose purpose is to fight skin cancer on the front lines by giving sunscreen away. As they searched for a sunscreen partner, that's when they realized why skin cancer is more diagnosed than all other cancers combined: sunscreen sucks. They determined that the best way to fight skin cancer was to create a sunscreen people would actually want to wear. Bask was born from that goal. Every detail of the product and packaging was designed to make sunscreen fun, enjoyable, and cool. Since launch, Bask has won multiple awards, including The Zoe Report Beauty Award for Best Sunscreen. They were also named to the Bazaar 100 List. Refinery29 & Glamour both named the Bask spray "best clean ingredient sunscreen". But most importantly, we're getting people excited about sunscreen, and we've donated over 15,000 units of Bask to our non-profit partner organizations. Their mission is to end skin cancer.
