Les Petits Lieux Bourgogne Chardonnay 2023

Founded by Guillaume Rouget ( A true dynastic legacy, Son to Emmanuel Rouget, and grandnephew to Henri Jayer the so called "King of Burgundy") and his wife Laure Guilloteau in Vosne-Romanee. Les Petit Lieux is based out of one of Henri Jayer's previous cellars, where he would craft his legendary wines. Working with carefully selected parcels and growers all across the Cote d'Or, Guillaume focuses on transparent expression of terroir, utilizing both traditional Burgundian winemaking with a precise moder touch. The wines emphasize purity, freshness, and elegance. The Bourgogne Blanc is a testament to the house's commitment to these focuses, sourcing the fruit from very select vineyards throughout the whole of Burgundy. It opens with aromas of citrus blossoms, ripe red apples, and just ripe peach, all with a slight mineral tinge. The palate is bright and balanced, with a backbone of vibrant acidity which accent the orchard fruits and you can begin to detect the subtle oak influence on these wines.
