June Apple Juniper Lap Dulcimer

4-string, teardrop-shaped dulcimer by June Apple (made by Carl Gotzmer in Maryland). The Juniper mountain dulcimer has a slender, ellipse-shaped body style common to Southwest Virginia, Northeastern Tennessee, and North Carolina. It is made entirely of Virginia juniper (aromatic red cedar), and a two-piece back and top featuring bookmatched wood grains. Grover Sta-Tite tuners.
