2022 Garden of Earthly Delights Pinot Noir

Place: Macedon Ranges, VIC Variety: Pinot Noir Farming: Sustainable Adam Foster of Syrahmi produces wine under the Garden of Earthly Delights label for non-Rhône Valley varieties in small batches from local vineyards and not necessarily from Heathcote. The fruit comes from a high-altitude vineyard in Macedon which produces small-berried bunches of very good pinot noir. It is destemmed and fermented in stainless steel followed by a year’s rest in old barrels. A bright, crunchy and slightly sappy pinot that is joyous to drink. Adam suggest incorporating cherries or figs into the dish if you can!
