Colombia Tasting Flight
We kept hearing the same thing at the counter. “Wait, that Colombia is gone already?” “Are you getting Huila back?” “Which one was the fruity one again?” So we made a box out of the Colombians people kept talking about. Four half-pound bags. (2lb in total) Four completely different coffees. Limited run. Because apparently every Colombian coffee we bring in lately turns into a situation. Colombia San Gabriel Mango, raspberry, candied orange, silky chocolate. Really sweet. Really smooth. One of those coffees where the bag somehow disappears way faster than expected. Colombia Sierra Nevada Balanced sweetness, smooth body, classic Colombian cup. The easy one to wake up with. Nothing aggressive, nothing trying too hard. Just really good coffee. Colombia Huila Red apple, lemon, pomegranate, round sweetness. This one has that clean bright thing Huila coffees do so well without becoming too sharp or fussy. Colombia Bomba de Fruta Huge fruit aroma, juicy sweetness, milk chocolate finish. This coffee walks into the room before you do. Big fruit notes, heavier body, natural processed. Definitely the loudest bag in the box.
