Algae Colorwork Hat Workshop

We’re offering another great colorwork hat class for our adventurous beginners and those who’ve taken colorwork with us before. This ocean themed cap is perfect for chilly San Diego nights, and the striking two-color pattern is ideal for bold contrast or to highlight some fun hand dyed yarn. With longer color blocks this hat offers some additional skill building beyond our Doodle Hat classes, allowing students to work on fine tuning their skills with yarn dominance, catching floats, and evening their tension. In order to maximize class time, students should knit the ribbing of the hat (brim and increase round) at home and come ready to begin the colorwork. Instructor is Hadley.
